A guided introduction to three medicinal mushrooms

This live online event explores the qualities and uses of three widely respected medicinal mushrooms: Reishi, Lion’s Mane, and Maitake.

Reishi has long been associated with calming the nervous system, supporting sleep, and helping the body adapt during periods of prolonged stress. Lion’s Mane is known for its relationship with cognitive clarity, focus, and the nourishment of the nervous system. Maitake is traditionally valued for its role in metabolic balance, immune support, and adaptability within the body’s wider systems.

During the session, you’ll learn how these mushrooms are understood within herbal medicine, how their actions differ, and how they are commonly used in practice. Teaching is grounded and accessible, offering language and context that allow the material to be meaningfully integrated.

The event includes time for questions and discussion, and all attendees receive a PDF of the full teaching notes after the session, so the learning can be revisited and deepened over time.

This is the first in a series inviting a closer relationship with herbal medicine, one that begins with understanding, curiosity, and a reconnection to the body’s own capacity for balance and care.
